Fernhill House
A substantial Ascot home stripped back to its structure and remade — every room, surface and service renewed to an exacting modern standard.
Take the house back to shell and rebuild it as a calm, light-filled modern home, without losing the generosity of the original plan.
How we resolved it.
A new oak-and-steel staircase anchors the entrance hall — pale oak treads over charred risers, a blackened-steel rail, and a full-height glass screen borrowing light from the front door. The same restraint carries through every room: lime plaster, natural stone and dark joinery.
The finished building.

“They rebuilt every inch of this house, and it shows nowhere and everywhere at once. It simply feels effortless.” Private client, Berkshire
